A rare South African Springboks squad jersey with outstanding provenance. This Canterbury Sasol-sponsored Springboks jersey was presented by the 2006 South African Rugby Union Tri-Nations Team to the City of Canada Bay Council in appreciation for use of the facilities at Concord Oval, as evidenced by the engraved presentation plaque.
The jersey bears multiple squad signatures across the front, alongside a personal inscription reading "Thanks to the City of Canada Bay Council" written directly on the jersey. The 2006 Springboks squad was coached by Jake White and featured players who would go on to win the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
