Australia's Dual World Cup Year 1999 Cricket & Rugby, Signed Limited Edition Print

Australia's Dual World Cup Year 1999 Cricket & Rugby, Signed Limited Edition Print

A truly one-of-a-kind piece of Australian sporting history. In 1999, Australia achieved the unprecedented feat of holding both the Cricket World Cup (won June 1999 under Steve Waugh) and the Rugby World Cup (won November 1999 under John Eales) simultaneously — a feat no other nation has ever achieved.

"Paths of Glory" is the official limited edition commemorative print (216 of 500) celebrating this extraordinary double. It features match photography from both World Cup campaigns, a facsimile of the famous pre-match fax sent by Steve Waugh to John Eales reading "Don't make it too easy, tease them and then nail them in the dying minutes just to show them who the greatest country in the world is. Play Well, Trust Yourself — Steve Waugh", and individual signatures.

The print is hand-signed and authenticated. Limited edition 216/500. Professionally framed.
